Call for Paper For the 2012 PRDLA Meeting November 4-6, 2012 Beijing, China

The PRDLA 2012 Program Planning Committee is pleased to announce the theme of 2012 annual meeting: Change and Challenge: Redefine the Future of Academic Libraries.
As we shared this theme with the co-held International Conference in celebration of the 110th anniversary of the founding of Peking University Library, the PPC discussed and confined the PRDLA annual meeting in the four focus areas which are:

  1. Digital library management and development strategies
  2. Possible topics: data management, assessment, curation, user studies, service surveys, digital rights

  3. Knowledge discovery and services
  4. Possible topics: technology platforms, discovery service case studies

  5. Consortia, cooperation, and sharing
  6. Possible topics: updates on collaborative projects, benefits and challenges of international cooperation, data sharing

  7. Outreach and engagement with students, faculty, and audiences beyond
  8. Possible topics: Faculty and digital scholarship, new forms of publication, incorporating multimedia, social media and the library commons

Again, the 2012 PRDLA meeting will take place November 4-6 at Peking University Library. We look forward to seeing you in November in Beijing, China!
