On behalf of the members of the Pacific Rim Research Libraries Alliance (PRRLA), we mourn the passing of Ms. Sylvia Yap Swee Beng, a respected leader in academic librarianship and a valued member of the Pacific Rim library community.
As the oldest academic library in Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong Libraries (HKU Libraries) has a legacy of promoting knowledge exchange through its special collections and developing many associated digital scholarship projects.
The first PRRLA Webinar of the year was conducted on 13 May 2025. Rose Gertsakis, University of Melbourne and Todd Grappone, UCLA gave excellent presentations on the new PRRLA website and recent development of PRL.
